Metropolitan Leather are probably the only company in the world still producing the high specification semi chrome leather for the measurement of gas flowing through a meter.

The leather is specially selected by our own sorters in Asia and then tanned and processed in England.

From customer's design drawings we produce accurate tooling with location holes, angles and sizes enabling us to cut skins to diaphragm pattern.

Regular chemical analysis and physical testing ensures the strict standard is maintained .
